VOCAL ENSEMBLE WORKSHOPS IN MEXICO CITY
You pick the song.
I put you on stage.
You come, you take the class, you decide afterwards. No commitment.
I do not guess. I diagnose. Before I teach you how to use your voice, I run a Bio-Vocal diagnosis. What comes out of it is technique that is healthy, efficient and free of fatigue.
An ensemble
does not forgive shortcuts.
If your voice is not well built, five months of singing in a group will wear it down. That is why we start by understanding what your voice actually does — not by handing out sheet music.
Singing with others demands pitch, stamina and ear. All three can be trained — but only if there is technique underneath that holds up.
- Bio-Vocal Coaching™ MethodThe same one I use one to one, applied to a group.
- Vocal biomechanicsWe work on what your body actually does when you sing.
- Theory and practice from session oneYou understand what you are doing, not just repeat it.
- Healthy vocal techniqueSing more and tire less, not the other way round.
- Every level is welcomeI level you and place you in the voice part that fits you.
Dos talleres. Take one or take both.
On Stage
- Full musical numbers, staged from scratch.
- Stage presence.
- Trabajo actoral: cantar siendo alguien, no solo cantar.
- Ends with a showcase in front of an audience.
Shuffleando
- Any genre. Pop, rock, bolero, whatever the group wants.
- Choral ensemble: you learn to sound with other voices.
- The group picks the repertoire, not me.
- Ends with a final concert.
What you take with you when it ends
- Vocal biomechanicsPower and response without fatigue. Your voice holds what you ask of it.
- Stage mileageThe real experience of having performed for an audience. You do not study that, you live it.
- Professional materialFull video of your final performance. (Additional cost.)
- Your castA group that wants the same thing you do. Friendships and projects come out of here.
From the first note to the stage
Four stages. None of them gets skipped, and they all end in the same place: you, on stage, singing in front of people who came to see you.
Where, when and with how many
What todos asks me
I have never sung in a group. Can I join?
Yes. There is no entrance audition and every level is welcome. You start with a Bio-Vocal diagnosis, which is how everyone starts, and from there I place you in the voice part that fits you. Nobody is left out for not knowing.
The cycle already started. Can I still join?
Come to the sample class and we will see. It is free and with no commitment: you take the full session, I read your voice, and I tell you honestly whether it makes sense to join now or wait for the next cycle. I would rather tell you no than charge you for something that will not serve you.
Do I need to read music?
No. We work by ear and with method. Theory comes in from the first session, but explained so you can use it while singing, not to pass an exam.
Can I take both workshops?
Yes, and many people do. They are different: On Stage is musical theatre — character, acting, a staged number. Shuffleando is choral ensemble with the repertoire the group chooses. One gives you the stage, the other gives you your ear.
Will I really perform in front of an audience?
Yes, in December. It is not a drill or an open rehearsal: it is a performance with an audience. The whole cycle is built so you reach that day without your voice shaking.
I already take one-to-one classes with you. Is this useful for me?
It is what will move you the most. In the one-to-one class we build your voice; in the ensemble you put it to the test with other voices, with staging and with an audience. They are two different things and they feed each other.
You pick the song.
I put you on stage.
The sample class is free and commits you to nothing. You come, you sing, I read your voice for you, and you decide.
